The Enconvo iPhone app pairs with your Mac, so your Mac’s projects and chats are on your phone. Every chat you open from the phone keeps running on your Mac, with its files, apps, and agents. This tutorial pairs a phone from start to finish: sign in, show the pairing code on the Mac, and scan it with the iPhone. The video is 1 minute 12 seconds long. The written steps below follow the same order, with the matching timestamp for each step.
The iPhone app is in beta. Install it from TestFlight, or scan the TestFlight code in Settings → Agents → Connections on your Mac. Pairing needs Enconvo 2.5.6 beta or later on the Mac.

Steps

Sign in on your iPhone (0:07)

Install the iPhone app and sign in with the same Enconvo account as your Mac. Only phones signed in to your account can pair with it.

Show the pairing code (0:16)

On the Mac, open Settings → Agents → Connections and select Show pairing code. The QR code is good for five minutes; if it runs out, select Show a new code.

Scan it with your iPhone (0:22)

On the phone, open Remote and tap Pair a Mac, then point the camera at the code on your Mac. The two are paired in a moment. Your phone reaches the Mac through the Enconvo relay, and messages are end-to-end encrypted.

Your Mac, on your phone (0:34)

Once the Mac shows as Online in Remote, its projects and chats are right there on your phone.

Open any chat (0:40)

Open any chat and pick up where you left off. The chat still runs on your Mac, so it can use that Mac’s files, apps, and agents.

Keep it reachable (0:47)

In Connections, turn on Stay awake while charging. It keeps the Mac from sleeping while it’s plugged in, so your phone can always reach it. It has no effect on battery power.

Remove a phone (0:52)

Lost a phone? In Connections → Paired phones, select Remove next to it. That phone can no longer reach your Mac; to use it again, pair it with a new code.

What you can do from your phone

Once paired, you can:
  • Browse your Mac’s projects and chats, and continue any chat.
  • Answer questions an Agent asks while it works on your Mac.
  • Get notified when a chat finishes.
  • Chat with AI models on the phone itself, using Enconvo Cloud points or your own API key.

Manage paired phones

Settings → Agents → Connections lists every paired phone and shows whether phones can reach this Mac right now.
If the phone can’t reach your Mac, check that the Mac is awake, signed in, and online, and that Connections shows it as Online.
