Pick the Production, Beta, or Dev update channel and install new Enconvo versions.
Enconvo checks for new versions in the background and shows an Update button when your update channel has a newer build. Most people stay on Production; switch to Beta to try new features before they’re released to everyone.
More frequent development builds, separate from Beta
Use Production unless you want to test new features early. Use Beta if
you’re helping test a release or need a fix before the stable release is
published.
Open Enconvo Settings from the app menu, or press ⌘,.

Go to General
Open General in the Settings sidebar.

Find Updates
Scroll to the Updates section.

Choose a channel
Set Update Channel to Production, Beta, or Dev.
A fresh Dev installation starts on Dev, and a channel you chose before stays as it is. Switching channels doesn’t necessarily downgrade a newer build you already have.
When your channel has a new version, an Update button appears in:
The Chat Window titlebar
The SmartBar titlebar
The Dynamic Island
Click Update. Enconvo shows the new version and walks you through downloading, installing, and relaunching.Enconvo checks when you open the Chat Window, SmartBar, or the Dynamic Island. To avoid repeated network requests, it doesn’t repeat that check more than once in 10 minutes.
Automatic update downloads are off by default. Enconvo can tell you an update
exists and show the button before it downloads anything.
If your channel has a newer version, follow the update prompt.
If no update window appears, you may already have the latest version for your channel. To see which version you have, open Settings → About: it shows the version, the build, and Beta or Dev when you’re on one of those channels.
Check that Settings → General → Updates → Update Channel is Beta, then open the Chat Window or SmartBar again. Background checks wait 10 minutes between runs, so give it a few minutes if you just checked.
You switched back to Production and the newest build is missing
Production shows only builds published to the stable channel. A build that’s still beta-only appears once it’s promoted to Production.
The Update button disappeared
The update may already be installed or dismissed, or may no longer match your channel. Run Check for Updates from the menu bar to confirm.
The update prompt doesn’t open
Quit and reopen Enconvo, then run Check for Updates again. Also check that your network can reach Enconvo’s release server.
