Quick Capture saves the current app’s content to a knowledge base for later. Each capture keeps a screenshot of the window and its text: for a browser, the page’s content, and for a YouTube video, its subtitles. Appshots attaches an app window to the question you’re asking now; Quick Capture creates a knowledge base item you keep.

Capture something worth keeping

  1. Bring the app with the content to the front.
  2. Press your Quick Capture hotkey, which you set under Hotkey in Settings → Quick Capture. Or open the Dynamic Island and click Quick Capture.
  3. Enconvo saves the capture to the knowledge base set in Save to, the Default Knowledge Base unless you chose another. A short shutter sound plays.
  4. Open that knowledge base and check the saved item.
Indexing and the summary can finish a little after the item appears.

Settings

Open Settings → Quick Capture. Auto summary sends the captured text to your AI model. Review your model and provider settings if you want to control where captured content is processed.
